Even par wins the first Sunday Double Mini.  Congradulations to Scott and Rynn for shooting even par.  We had 8 people for the Saturday mini and 11 people for the Sunday doubles mini.  See all the results at texasarmytrail.com.

Join us July 4, 2011 for our 1st Annual Independence Day Mini Tournament, Free Hamburgers, Hotdogs & Chips! We'll eat from:  3:30 pm - 4:45 pm, Then have our weekend mini at 5:00 PM.  Come celebrate USA's independence on the trail to Texas' independence.

This weekend, the work crew tackled holes 9 and 13.  On hole nine we trimmed about 100 feet on the south side just before the basket.  We removed stumps and sprayed for poison ivy.  On hole 13 we remove stumps.

If you have considered volunteering, please think about coming out next weekend.  We going to try and get all 18 hole installed and playable by the July 4th mini.  Come out Saturday from 10 to 2 and/or Sunday 10 to 2.  Bring an axe if you can to help clear stumps, but any manual labor you can provide will be welcome.  We're going to rent a post hole digger and dig all the remaining basket anchors and sign post holes.
